Q: Do you charge for a Consultation?

A: No. A consultation is free; however, once you have decided to book a service, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required (bridal and event services). The deposit amount will be based on the services you are booking.

Q: What is a Trial?

A: A trial is an opportunity for you and your hairstylist to create your updo/style prior to your wedding/event. Think of it as a "rough draft". It helps you and your stylist iron out the details in advance of your big day/night.

Trials are recommended for brides; however, anyone can book one.

Q: Should I wash my hair the day of my updo or creative style?

A: No. Please wash your hair the night before. This makes for better setting and styling of the hair because your scalp has had a chance to produce its natural oils.

Q: How long will it take to do my hair?

A: This will be based on the consultation and, if applicable, the trial. Generally, however, a good rule of thumb is about an hour (minimum) per hair service.

Q: When do I pay the remaining balance for my hair?

A: Once the 50% non-refundable deposit is received, the remaining balance is due on the day your hair is done.

Q: Why should I hire a professional makeup artist? Will I really look better than if my friends did it?

A: Definitely get a professional! That's like asking "Should I hire a professional photographer?" Just as anyone could take a picture, would you really want someone untrained behind the camera? It always looks best with a professional's knowledge and experience. Personally I wouldn't trust the way I looked forever in pictures to my nervous hands or an inexperienced friend.

Q: What type of makeup products do you use?

A: I only use the highest quality luxury brands and professional quality products that look best in photographs. All the products used are "camera ready". We use both traditional liquid/crème foundations and airbrush foundations suited for all skin types and tones.

Q: How long will my makeup last/ will my hair fall?

A: Your make up will stay intact throughout the event. Foundation will stay put even if you cry thanks to the silicone based formulations. I specialize in keeping make up on in the HEAT and We use quality products made to hold up all night. No hair falling!

Q: Can you do my type of hair or skin?

A: We get asked this question more frequently than any other question and the answer is always "YES! No matter what your ethnicity or skin type/ tone are our artists are trained for every person's unique hair and skin type. We pride ourselves on being prepared for each new person we work with.

Q: I have a large party, how many makeup artists/ hair stylists can be provided for my wedding?

A: We can provide as many makeup artists or hair stylists as needed for your bridal party. No party is too large. We can also provide assistants if you are in a time crunch to be ready :)

Q: How many months before the wedding will you do the pre-wedding consultation?

A: You need to do your pre-wedding consultation (trial run) at least 1 month prior to the wedding or as soon as possible to book your wedding date.

Q: What if I don't like my makeup/ hair at the trial run? Can I suggest changes?

A: Definitely! We are creating a look that makes you feel and look your best! I want you to be completely happy with your final look. We work with women, trust me, nothing can hurt our feelings!

Q: Will I need a touch up between the ceremony and reception? Is this included or an extra service?

A: Lipstick may need touching up so that's why you will receive a small "bridal goody bag" for your big day. If you'd like for an artist to stay through your wedding and reception you can hire one per hour for an additional charge.

Q: What is your event cancellation policy?

A: Ideally cancellations should be done as soon as the bride knows about the change in plans. All cancellations will be charged a $100 fee. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event/wedding will be charged the total balance.

Q: What is your customer satisfaction cancellation policy?

A: If you are unsatisfied with your results after your trail run, no fees will be charged other than the trail run costs. I will provide you with the names and numbers of other makeup artist in the area for you to use for your wedding/event.

Q: What are your standard payment terms?

A: A payment for bridal trail runs are due the day of the trail run prior to make up application and is a separate fee than that of your wedding. 1/2 of the entire cost of the event/wedding is due to book the date of the wedding. The rest of the balance will be due 2 weeks prior to the day of the event.
